Creating a Scene with Die Cuts

Hello and welcome!! Today I am sharing a card that I created using a range of products from Spellbinders Windows with a View Collection which features 5 different die sets including Vista View Window, Coastal Escape View, Up in the Air View, Backyard Haven View and The Botanical Solarium; a stencil to create backgrounds that includes a mountains, cityscape, lawn and clouds which is called Background Scapes Stencils; and a sentiment stamp set called Sending Sunshine Sentiments. Make sure to check out the video on YouTube as I had intended to make a very different card to this, but had to change the card as some things didn’t go as planned.

For this card I used the Spellbinders Vista View Window Dies, Backyard Haven View Dies, and Spellbinders Background Scapes Stencils. I ink blended the front panel with Distress Ink Milled Lavender and used the Vista View Window Dies for the window.

I die cut the individual elements for the scene using the Backyard Haven View Dies from Hammermill Premium Color Copy Cover 110lbs and then ink blended different Distress Inks to create the scene. The lawn was ink blended with the Backyard Scene Scapes Stencil. The little squirrel is my favourite!!
