Press Plate Technique on a Sunset Background

Hello and welcome!! Today I am sharing a card that I created with the Spellbinders June BetterPress Society Press Plate called “Summer Vibes” on a sunset ink blended background. The June Society press Plate is a Registration Press Plate set and comes with an acetate colour guide to make it easier for you to line up your press plates and use different colours to create your card.

I always forget how easy Spellbinders Registration Press Plates are to use and it never ceases to amaze me how quickly a card can be created with press plates, whether they are the usual press plates that we have all come to love, or the relatively new Registration Press Plates from Spellbinders. For the background, I used Distress Oxide Ink Pads to create the sunset and the water.

I would recommend that if you have a photocopier that you photocopy your acetate template and keep this in a folder in case you lose the acetate template or you don’t don’t to have to clean the acetate template each time you use a different coloured ink pad. I have done this will all of my Registration Press Plate templates.
